We the members of The Buddhist Heritage Project wish to inform you that a campaign has been organized by us for the liberation of the Sarnath Archaeological site.The first step, we felt was to lodge a petition to this effect in the web domain, hence we have placed it on:.

We request you to not only visit the site, write your comments and sign the petition but also to send a copy of this letter to other people who feel that a solution should be found to this problem.
Later this petition will be presented to the President of India for her intervention. If the President should find it outside her jurisdiction to offer a solution, in that case we shall have no other recourse than to file a Public Interest Suite in the High Court.
Your view and signature will be of immense value to us in presenting the view of the pilgrims.
