BOOK ON RAIN RETREAT OF THE BUDDHA
The Peace Pilgrim has been traveling to a number of prospective sites in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in search of places where the Buddha could have possibly spent the rain retreat in the 45 years of his teaching mission. Some sites have not yet been identified by Historians till now. The Peace Pilgrim has been tracing the route of the blessed One on the basis of the scriptures. One such site in Nala where the Buddha spent the 11th rain retreat (please read story on Kispa on this website) the other are Caliya and Mankula hill where the holy one spent some of these retreats. The book should be ready for publication later this year.
